5. Budget and Resources
Now that you have identified what you plan to do, you need to figure out how you will accomplish your project. This includes identifying the resources you need (including time, money and personnel), budgeting for them, and making sure your project is successful by having an appropriate evaluation plan or partner. (We'll get to that last part next.)
Creating a defensible BI budget:
What time/effort are you and your partners willing to invest? In addition to yourself, who else will participate in the BI activities? For example, grad students, postdocs, undergraduates or others? Make sure to include these activities in your project timeline.
How could you leverage existing programs? Which resources can your partner(s) leverage?
